Works 2012


Works - An Art Happening
Featuring AgesandAges, Bryan Free, and Purse Candy

Intown Church and People’s Art of Portland present the seventh annual Works, an event celebrating the diverse art, music, and culture of Portland. Works showcases Portland’s musical and spoken word talent, as well as hosting a curated gallery of local visual artists in the gothic atmosphere of The Old Church, one of downtown Portland’s landmark buildings.
The musicians, artists and performers at Works attract hundreds of people each year. Attendees also enjoy great beer and wine paired with locally sourced food prepared by chef Berkley Braden.
This year’s musical guests are Portland’s beloved AgesandAges, the always amazing musical chameleon Bryan Free, and dark electro pop outfit Purse Candy, along with spoken word artist, Jeff Hardison.
Visual artists and craftspeople exhibiting and selling their painting, sculpture and fine crafts include:

Place:   The Old Church (Downtown, SW 11th Avenue & Clay Street)
Cost:    $10 at the door / $8 with a canned food good for the Oregon Food Bank
